I don't remember how I found out about this great product, but I'm sure glad I did!
Bar Keepers Friend works on just about anything.
Bathtubs, sinks, countertops, stainless steel, glass cooktops, etc.
We use it in the kitchen and bathroom all the time.
Want to see how it works?
Here's our composite granite sink with a few stains and just overall a bit yucky.
Just wet it down, then sprinkle on the Bar Keepers Friend
Let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe down and rinse.
The Barkeepers Friend is abrasive so it will help scrub away those stains!
Voila!
MUCH BETTER!!!
It really helps cut down on the elbow grease!
You can find Bar Keepers Friend at most Walmart, Target and grocery stores.
It is in the cleaning aisle usually on the bottom shelf and retails for less than $2.
Have you ever used Bar Keepers Friend? What's your secret cleaning weapon?
I love that stuff! I also use vinegar quite a bit to clean with. I make a multi-purpose cleaner in an old Windex bottle: 1T dawn dish soap, 1/3 bottle vinegar, rest water. Shake well. It cleans, gets greasy stuff, and doesn't have anything too harsh in it, so I don't have to worry about Lucy licking the edge of the counter as soon as I spray it down to clean (gross, I know....). Good thing vinegar helps disinfect!
ReplyDeleteI have used it and swear by it, too!
ReplyDeleteThe day I was moving, just before leaving, I cleaned my cat's litterbox with it. I mean having to drive the thing to our new place so as soon as we got there she could have it... who wants to drive around with a used (even if relatively clean) litterbox in the car? Ick! But after some serious scrubbing it with this, I joked that the thing was "clean enough to eat off of." Ok that's gross, but just my way of saying I was SHOCKED by how non-disgusting the litterbox was after a good cleansing with Barkeeper's Friend :)
I'm glad you ladies have found how awesome this product is! Samantha...that's some pretty powerful testimony to it!
